This kind of stuff is fun be carefull as one gets sunburned doing this are you using tungsten rods carbon rods are awesome also differant frequencies of the voltage and dc voltage plus rf energy it turned super brilliant and used in noble gases thank you

Expensive equipment with lots of fine control buys you repeatability.

Quick, fast and cheap experiments buy you rapid turn around and a look at what is possible beyond what has already been shown.
