Facts are facts until the facts change

Earlier this year I took the opportunity to visit lower Manhattan for the first time in over a quarter of a century. This area of this great city, having been now fully re-built, was markedly the cleanest part of New York I experienced on the trip.

The Message

Last time I stood here, I was on my way to take in the view from the top of the south tower (2 World Trade Center). The procedure was, that you get your ticket, went up the atrium escalator and two sets of elevators to the restaurant called “Windows on the World” where you then waited for your allotted time slot to go up to the observation deck.

My friend, David, spent all of that time looking out of the narrow windows at the view. I however, was more fascinated at a small framed notice on one of the beams between to adjacent windows. David asked me “what are you staring at”, I said “this notice, I can’t understand how they would know that”. He replied “know what”, I then read what the document said;

“This building is designed to withstand the direct impact of a passenger airliner”

I mean, sure, they might have considered the engineering parameter space and as an engineer, I knew it was something you could run scenarios on, but reality often has a way of humbling the hubris of an engineer. The Tacoma Narrows and the Millennium bridge are two examples of when RESONANCE, wind/shape and people walking respectively, not big impacts, that foiled those bridges. In fact, if you are resonant with a structure or its critical components you may lay anything to waste. Ultimately the Millennium bridge’s problems were solved by damping those resonances, the Narrows bridge famously did not fair so well.

I later learned that indeed, the Twin Towers were designed to withstand the direct impact of a Boeing 707 passenger airliner, which was the largest commercial jet in service during the 1960s when the towers were engineered. The design analysis, conducted by structural engineers including lead engineer John Skilling, was inspired by historical incidents like a B-25 bomber crashing into the Empire State Building in 1945. It assumed a scenario where a 707 might strike the building while lost in fog during a low-speed landing approach (around 200 mph). Skilling's team concluded that the primary damage would come from the aircraft's fuel igniting a massive fire, potentially killing many people, but the steel structure itself would remain standing without collapsing.

What I still don’t get is what was going through the peoples minds who decided to type-set, print, frame and hang that message.

The Museum

This time I was waiting to enter the 9/11 memorial museum. Outside there was a flag at half mast, a sign of respect that Americans are very good at when it comes to a national tragedy. My heart goes out to all those affected by the senseless loss of life.

I went into the museum principally to see one artefact, I saw it, it was near the end of the “no Photos” section of the museum, a little before the massive inch-plus thick steel box-frame girders, seemingly impossibly smoothly bent, without cracks or buckling. As I could not take a photo, I will refer you to my earlier thoughts on it.

The Tower of Towers

As I walked in the areas where photography was allowed, I was immediately struck by parts of one particular exhibit. It was a section of the North Tower’s communication tower.

You can see that it is octagonal, with 8 large cross section solid steel rods on each corner. Some of these were clearly cut with an oxy-acetylene blow torch.

These were not what caught my eye, it was others that were distinctly different. These just looked like the metal had fragmented, or at the very least, torn.

It strongly reminded me of something I had already studied in detail in April of 2022, but as I took a photo, I thought, perhaps it had somehow been sheared off in the collapse (despite being at the top of the building), since it was where the octagonal frame was mounted.

Then I looked at the other end, there I could see no side bracing, but the same fracture pattern. Perhaps, as the position diagram shows, this was the part that was attached to the other framed section.

I could not shake the feeing that it looked like a very famous John Hutchison sample I had investigated. There are two parts to the sample and thanks to a collector in UK and George Hathaway in Toronto, Canada, I had the opportunity to look at both over the past several years.

I first looked at the top of the billet, the collector apologised greatly for its rusty state, he had kept it in a garage, he was clearly embarrassed. Regardless, I think you can see why I felt I had seen the morphology of the non-torch cut sections from the communication tower above.

Scanning Electron Microscope analysis of the end of the billet showed it was a ferro-silicon alloy, with carbon. There were clear rust formations and some pollen. There were also polygonal holes with carbon in them, in the top right quadrant of the image below, there is an octagonal hole and to the bottom right of that, a truncated equilateral triangle hole, both filled. I have seen these kind of structures in other Coherent Energy Transformation based technologies, I started to believe the claims for this piece were real. A big thank you to the collector for lending me the sample.

George was very gracious during my time with him, most importantly, taking me through his collection of Hutchison Effect samples which included the famous split file with common poles at the breaks.

He gave me a sample of the fragments that had come from the billet sample.

His own SEM/EDS imagery of these fragment samples matched the description of them given by Col. Tom Bearden in 1992 on the micro scale.

… you will literally have monopoles repel each other and you'll have the explosive separation of metals into all kinds of grains and structures…
… he produced magnificent breaks
…metal splits as if it were Venetian blinds.

I was very keen to see if this was the case, it turned out it was.

Those holes are in one phase of the metal and are sized and spaced at a similar distance to those observed in other Coherent Energy Transformation systems. I believe they are the signature of the deposited monopoles that Col. Tom Bearden discusses.

Conclusion

It would be terrible to suspect that some clandestine group has access to a technology that could lower the structural integrity of metals, turning them into dust. They may use it to curtail freedoms, cause deaths across the world and use national resources for their own gain, leaving the taxpayer with the bill.

I am not saying that the ‘fractured’ metal I observed on the communication tower was caused by something similar to the Hutchison Effect, the only way to know that, would be for someone with courage to take a look using similar tools. Perhaps there will come a time when there is an appetite for ruling this possibility out.
