Sometimes, things are not what they appear, especially when man made and ones view can vary based on ones learned experience and creativity. When referring to artefacts or events from the past, one can often only know the facts if one was there, though having an item in your hand and studying it helps one get to the truth. Throughout history however, humans have fashioned things that have relevance outside of their specific form or function.
When something is created by a natural effect however, since nature cannot lie, it only does, given a set of parameters, the thing that you see is the truth, it only remains to understand how nature got to that conclusion.

Comments on dodecahedron
The Dual of a Solid [1]
There are two important relationships between the dodecahedron and the icosahedron. First, the mid-points of the faces of the dodecahedron define the points on an icosahedron and the mid-points of the faces of an icosahedron define a dodecahedron. The same is true of the cube and the octahedron. If we try it with a tetrahedron, we just get another tetrahedron. Each is called the dual of the other solid where the number of edges in each pair is the same, but the number of faces of one is the number of points of the other, and vice-versa. Plato probably did not know this. Plato describes the basic elements of the “polyhedral atoms”
“Plato tells how Timaeus of Locri thought of the Universe as being enveloped by a gigantic dodecahedron”

I found this strange little video, I think it is a discharge through a needle as that is what I was searching, no other info I'm afraid.
Is anything going on here...? Looks like the camera pixels are effected in the shape of a gradually forming ring then going to a ball, it then disappears and when energised again instantly appears.
