Hi Bob, Definity here. What exactly did you want me to do again? Make a searchable DB that is synced with video, audio, voltage reading, current readings and observed radiation?
I can sync it to your computer's clock, not a problem but if you do want me to expand it to use the things I mentioned above they will need a synced clock so they all fire at the same time. If you had a spare atomic clock knocking around that would be perfect!
But I assume you don't so the next best way would be to trigger everything via a master switch which time gets logged on the computer. I can then use that as a master clock to sync everything up.
I will have a think of other ways to do it but this is the first one that springs to mind.
I was wondering if this was purchased mainly for testing the spectra generated in the VEGA and HENK reactors, or if you are also thinking on eventually testing one of the miracle LEDs that allegedly are going to be sold by the (un)famous Italian, just a curiosity that popped in my mind, as “il dottore” has managed, again, to capture great attention with little else than hot air.
Yes, and in the coming week, I will look at more calibration options and if it is possible to determine elements semi-automagically using affordable software.

Hi Definity... actually, just store the data output from the SPECTRYX USBVIS with timestamp I guess.

All the best.
Cool and affordable gadget!!!
R, G, B (indigo) LASERs now tested,
Will try NEON and UV bulbs next

NEON and UV worked lovely. NEON should work for calibration.
Alan will look at Hydrogen and Xenon today hopefully and I will add the data to the newsletter.
It had occurred to me.
