Commentary on iron acoustic waves
In addition to the above, I forgot to mention that I believe that the internal sputtering and mirroring of the Desmitron tube we used for radiation remediation experiments in California, the extent of the silvering is due to, in my view, the iron acoustic wave standing wave modes also.
Martin Fleischmann answers George Miley
He tells him what should be considered proof of transmutation
What I am learning from working on this video of Martin Fleischmann from 1998 is that he was self-deprecating, relatable, humorous, and very conservative in his proclamations.
In the short questions and answers session after the presentation, he was asked the following question by the highly accomplished and respected life-long nuclear scientist, Professor. George Miley.
Martin, I wanted to add my congratulations to you for clarifying so many issues - but what I wanted to ask you about: since you’re talking about the er, the future - you’ve left the whole field of transmutations out. What is your view of that?
- Professor. George Miley’s question to Martin Fleischmann, April 23, 1998
Here is the transcript of his answer.
Well I have to address Douglas Morrison here.
I am an extremely conventional scientist.
Now people don’t believe this, but I am actually a very, very, very conventional scientist.
And when we got to March 1989, we had our singular result and I said to Stan Pons,
“Well, you know you’re going to have something with a proton, something with a triton. We’ll never find that out! So - well, you know, the permutations and combinations of all that’s going on - that’s horrendous!”
And then everybody wanted to erect this enormous superstructure on this one point.
Well, the outcome, of course is predictable - it didn’t work.
So, I’m sure there is a great deal more that we haven’t looked at.
I don’t feel competent to talk about transmutations, but I’ve seen… George Miley got up and sat down. Where’s he gone?
My view of transmutation is: if it was just based on profiling SIMS, I wouldn’t believe it, but if you do isotope distributions then you have to take it very seriously indeed.
If you get the non-natural abundances of isotopes, then you have to take it very seriously. And err, well, who knows?
You know, Professor Takahashi here, he’s got the three-body reaction. I think - it’s just that people believe that nuclear - high-energy nuclear physics, and everything was very simple. I don’t think that’s going to be so. Once you start shaking people up they’ll come up with all sorts of strange new phenomena. I haven’t answered you very well.
I think if you have a distribution of isotopes which are not natural…
then you really have to believe it.
- Martin Fleischmann’s ICCF-7 presentation Q&A, April 23, 1998
Journey to conclusive proof of element transmutation
Prof George Miley has been on my radar for many years. Back in May 2018, I did a presentation and published it on the MFMP YouTube channel and Steemit blog called “What Really Is New Fire Fuel?”. In that blog, I did a composite image of a study that he had done that was reported by SPAWAR in relation to elements that we had found.

So, it gets hot. How stable is the confined plasma, how long can the reactor run for, does it produce a useful net electrical energy gain over what is put in? No answers. And looking to move to Helium-3. Somehow, I don’t think this is a solution to meet the world’s energy needs, and maybe not even energy for all those A.I. Datacentres.
